    • When you drive up the driveway, you will first pass the barn on your right. Continue past the barn to the house, all the way at the top of the driveway.  

    • Please park in the circle drive.  You may park additional cars in front of the garage, but guests do not have access to the garage. Do not park on the lawn.

    • A door code will be sent to you on the day of check-in.

    • You may use the door code to access the front door or the back door through the back gate next to the driveway.  There is a mudroom area inside the back door.  It is necessary to navigate stairs either way.

    • Check-out time is 10am

    • Please leave dirty towels hanging to dry or on the floor of the bathroom

    • No need to strip the beds - we’ll take care of all that!

    • Turn off all lights when you leave and lock the doors

    • Although not required, if you enjoyed your stay and have time, the following items will make things a bit easier for our cleaning team:

      • Place all dirty dishes in the dishwasher and start a load running

      • Empty coffee maker of used coffee grounds and rinse out

      • Place all garbage & recycling in the appropriate garbage cans

    • A door code will be sent to you on the day of check-in.

    • The same door code works for front and back door.

    • To unlock: enter code and door will unlock, blue checkmark will appear.

    • To lock: press the lock icon.  You will hear the deadbolt turn and blue checkmark will appear.

    • Bath towels are in each bedroom

    • There are striped beach towels in the upstairs hallway linen closet.  Please only use the striped towels as beach towels.  Please do not take the white towels outside.

    • Message us if you need any extra sheets, towels, pillows, etc. 

    • There is a laundry room in the basement.

      • The washer and laundry sink are hooked into a pump that the water drains into. It is normal for the pump to make a loud noise when it drains. Do not unplug the pump or it will flood.

    • Trash cans & recycling can be found in lower pullout cabinets on island left and to the right of the sink.

    • Extra trash bags are under the kitchen sink.

    • Recycling is single stream so you can place all recyclable items in the same blue recycling bag: cans, bottles, cardboard, plastic, glass, paper.

    • Full bags can be tied and driven down to the large trash bin behind the fence at the end of the driveway by the road (or we will take care of it at the end of your stay).

    • Do not leave trash outside as it will attract animals.

    Please note: an occupant and/or guest of an occupant may be cited for a violation of this ordinance and/or the Township Fireworks Ordinance, in addition to any other remedies available to the Township, County and State.

    • Living room TV gets live local channels if you select “Live TV” on the smart TV menu.

    • Both TVs are connected to Apple TVs which are controlled with the silver remote.

    • You may watch Netflix or login to your own accounts.

    • Thermostat is on two zones and can be controlled separately for main floor and upstairs

    • Touch the screen to make adjustments.

    • Mode: Set to Cool (for A/C), Heat (for Heat) or OFF for no heat or A/C

    • Fan: Set to Auto

    • Use arrows to set your desired temperature

    • The number in the center is the current room temperature, the number above is your desired set temp that the system is working toward.

    • With energy sustainability in mind, we recommend keeping temp between 72-74 degrees.

  • Wall light switch must be turned on and then fan and light controlled via the remote in each bedroom.

    • As a rural property, we are on private septic and well systems.

    • Water is running through a water softener and filtration system.

    • There is a filtered water spigot inside the left fridge door.

    • There is somewhat of a delay for the hot water so let it run for a bit to warm up.

    • Please do not flush anything down the toilet other than toilet paper.

    • Each drawer runs separately

    • Put the detergent pod in the silverware caddy

    • Open the drawer to find controls on the top edge

    • If controls do not light up or beep when you press them, close the drawer and open it again and you will hear a beep.   Controls only stay active for a short time after you open the drawer.

    • Press the left double arrow to select the “Normal” cycle if it is not already illuminated

    • Press the “play” button on the right to start and shut the drawer to start.  There is no light or indication that it is running other than the slight noise of the water running.

  • If you run out of propane please message us and we will bring another tank.

    • Firewood is stacked inside the fence on the east side of the house, under a black cover

    • Do not leave fire unattended

    • Always let the fire die out before covering with the lid

    • Please do not attempt to dispose of hot coals. Leave them in the firepit and we will take care of it at the end of your stay

    • Cover stove with the lid when not in use

  • Fireplace should not be used at this time. It will be available for use in the winter.

    • Press + to turn on

    • Should say “iPod”

    • The little black attachment is a wireless Bluetooth receiver.  It should have a blue light on if ready to connect.  If it does not, turn off and on again. Bluetooth connection: SOUL2 (Click settings on your phone, open Bluetooth to search for “Soul 2” and click pairing, play music from your phone)

    • Or you can plug in your phone to the white Aux cable and play music from your phone

    • Front string lights can be controlled by a light switch inside the front door

    • Back string lights can be controlled by a small button on the outdoor plug to the east of the back sliding door, outside.
